Rolling home

[Aj] Still north of Detroit. Simply had to make a pit stop for some warm food. There are nothing but chain restaurants here so we opted for Steak and Shake. The speed of service left something to be desired, but all in all regular fare.
We are now on the road with Jason at the wheel. I'm going to crash for a couple of hours and take the next shift.
And now for the transaction.
Upon our arrival, Bill, a large crane-operator with a bad back, silver front teeth and a bone-crushing hand shake, came out to welcome us with his third wife who immediately asked us if we wanted something to drink. She suggested Kool-Aid. We gladly accepted. They came in the ludicrously amazing plastic cups and after drinking too fast I caught a chill as it's been cold enough to cause intermittent snow flurries. Anyway, as Bill is showing us the trailer, his wife mentions how amazing it is that we would trust complete strangers. Bill even says that he wouldn't trust some of his friends with the transaction. Funny, I thought.
So, Bill showed us the trailer, and also how to collapse it, it took some doing getting it out of his yard, as he had to use his 4x4 and tore up the yard pretty good, but it's ok as he's moving to another house.
